The footpath located by the Prince of Wales pub, leading into Willmore End, was included in Merton Council’s programme of works after the Big Yellow Self Storage Company made a financial contribution under Planning Section 106.

 

The unlit footpath had been in very poor condition for years and often attracted fly tipping. With the support of Abbey Ward Councillor Marc Hanson and the local Metropolitan Police Safer Neighbourhoods Team the footpath, was re-constructed to an adoptable standard in September, 2008.
